About the Owners

Mortgages for Women was established by Kim Cawthorne in 2001. Working in the finance industry since 1988, in a variety of lending and management roles, and being a working Mother, Kim felt there was a need for a broker service designed specifically for women who led a busy lifestyle.

Cathy Quinn joined the business in 2003. With a background in sales and marketing for the housing industry since 1993, Cathy was very aware that the key decision makers in most financial and product selections, were women.

With their combined experience and shared passion to educate and assist women to achieve financial independence and security, Cathy and Kim have taken Mortgages for Women from strength to strength. In addition to lending, the business now conducts regular seminars, workshops and information nights with a team of professional women who specialise in financial planning, property for investment, accounting and law.
